10 October 2006
While Eastern Parts of South Africa are having snow and floods, Cape Town is trying to find its way to summer, but is being held back by icy claws in the wind. Yesterday evening saw an array of surf in Kommetjie. Sunset had become mushy looking, but in the morning the tow in boys were there and it looked clean and big. Long Beach looked about 5-6 foot and the off shore made it look good. Outers was large mush, but inners was a sweet 2-3 foot perfect wave-although it was breaking very far in. Still feeling tired from a lazy, indulgent weekend, I opted for a sunset walk.
